Thank you to everyone who has visited, downloaded, commented, and contributed to the site. I know the updates have slowed down a lot since we reached the end of the Food Network episodes. I&#8217;ll do my best to get back on a regular posting schedule with the Japanese language episodes.<\/p>\n<p>Here are what I consider to be the highlights from our first year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We completed the entire collection of episodes that aired on Food Network. (We&#8217;re the only place to see some of them on the internet.)<\/li>\n<li>We acquired 30 Japanese episodes that did not air on Food Network. (We&#8217;re still adding them. Be patient.)<\/li>\n<li>We acquired\/shared several Japanese specials that did not air on Food Network. (Millennium Special, Japan Cup 2002, Indonesia Expedition, Morimoto Retrospective)<\/li>\n<li>We helped the families of two challengers get copies of the episodes featuring their family members. <a href=\"http:\/\/mynotabledad.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Noble&#8217;s daughter<\/a> wrote to us asking if we had a copy of her father&#8217;s episode. And according to Mark at <a href=\"http:\/\/nylon.net\/ironchef\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">nylon.net<\/a>, &#8220;<span class=\"style4\">10 July 2008 &#8211; I <em>finally<\/em> have the Ostrich Episode (in Japanese, not dubbed)<\/span>. <a href=\"http:\/\/nylon.net\/ironchef\/ostrich\/ostrich.htm\"> <\/a>In 2008 I sent a copy of the episode to Gillian who had never seen it. Her children were amazed!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Over 50,000 videos watched\/downloaded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What you can expect in the months ahead:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The continued addition of the Japanese language episodes from 1997.<\/li>\n<li>More BKS videos, commercials, Japanese TV shows<\/li>\n<li>The videos from the Iron Chef Sega Saturn video game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week: 1997 Iron Chef World Cup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the one year anniversary of the launch of the Iron Chef Collection.
