Several segments of the show featured Bourdain with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto as his guide.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First up is a visit to a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Soba\" target=\"_blank\">Soba<\/a> restaurant. When asked how long it takes to be able to make perfect Soba, Morimoto replies, &#8220;Your entire life.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Next, we visit Morimoto&#8217;s restaurant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ystable.co.jp\/morimoto\/\" target=\"_blank\">XEX<\/a> in Tokyo. Morimoto prepares a meal for Anthony Bourdain using a &#8220;theme ingredient&#8221; of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monkfish\" target=\"_blank\">Monkfish<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Ever wonder where Morimoto gets his wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chefmorimoto.com\/knives\/knivesinternal.htm\" target=\"_blank\">knive<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chefmorimoto.com\/knives\/knivesinternal.htm\" target=\"_blank\">s<\/a>? We get to see where his knives are made by skilled craftsmen.<\/li>\n<li>The final segment finds Morimoto and Bourdain in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.japan-guide.com\/e\/e2029.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ryokan<\/a> in Kyoto.
